People have been trying to tell me that leading men don’t wear short sleeved shirts. Exhibit 1 to disprove that theory.
Zegna’s Zero Weight
Often, when designers strive for “fabric innovation” the results can be unnatural and, well, sweaty. But not so with Ermenegildo Zegna, which has been improving and refining wool for over a century. Zegna’s new Zero Weight is an incredibly light construction for jackets and suits, tailored with Trofeo 600 fabric weighing only 145 grams per meter. For comparison, average spring/summer lightweight suits or sportcoats weigh in around 230 to 250 grams. Trofeo 600, a blend of Merino wool and ultra-fine silk, is closer to a shirt weight.
